Are you trying to set up your gomoney account but you are not receiving an OTP text message to verify your phone number? This may be due to a number of reasons below:
- gomoney is currently only available to Nigerian citizens who have a registered phone number in any of the following countries: Nigeria, USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Dubai, France, and Ireland. We are, however, hoping to expand to more territories soon.
- It is possible that you are experiencing this issue because your network provider is slow or unable to deliver the message. Please wait a few minutes and try again.
- If you use an application like Truecaller, your OTP might have arrived in your Spam Box. Kindly check and confirm this.
- If your phone is set on ‘Do-Not-Disturb’ (DND), this may also affect the message delivery depending on your network provider or settings. Please turn off ‘DND’ and try again.
