Transfer failures might be due to a system interruption or scheduled maintenance on our end, it could also be due to external factors like the Central Banking System.
Scheduled Maintenance
To ensure the smooth sailing of our platform, this will occur once in a while. When it does, we will let you know before our systems are down and when they get back up, so you can prepare accordingly. In the case of an emergency service interruption, we will send a push notification and communicate the issue via all our social media networks.
Failure of interbank transfers
When sending money from your gomoney account to another bank or vice versa, the other party should receive the funds win no time. However, when interbank transfers are down, this is typically due to a downtime from the Central Banking System. All financial institutions will be affected and so transfers may take longer than usual, or will fail altogether.
When this happens, we'll send push notifications to you to alert you of the issue. So you're not affected by this, we've tested and proven that gomoney to gomoney transactions have a 100% success rate. So invite your family and friends over to experience transactions that never fail.
